ARCHITECT DESIGN MANAGER – Responsible for: Design-build team procurement process; Development of RFP documents; Project stakeholder engagements; Project coordination with criteria architect, engineers, and campus team. Assist in developing final construction plans of target structures. Assist in oversight and support in preparing as needed, drawings, or architectural design. Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time. Participate in and lead design phase meetings, write reports and give presentations. Respond to RFI’, Submittals, and Change Order Requests. Prepare project research, reports, and recommendations. Collaborate with joint venture and design team members. Consult with clients to determine functional or special requirements of structures. Oversee the design development process to ensure that project is delivered on time, quality and budget. Monitor work of specialists, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and designers to ensure optimal design or final structures. Coordinate multiple project participants, ie. Advising on risks, opportunities and potential hazards. Review and advise on designs, to ensure they meet regulatory, funding and legislative requirements. Assist in management of contract conditions and requirements to ensure design and construction standards, specifications, code requirements, are met during the design process. Evaluate design-build ideas and recommendations. Plan and execute schedules. Prepare and conduct presentations.
Req. Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning or related and two years’ experience as Architectural Designer or related. Rew. Proficiency in BlueBeam and Adobe Photoshop.
